The garden after rain…

Howdy partners!
I wanted to pop by and show you how the garden is looking right now… just after a brief splash of unexpected rain. I think the garden is at it’s best when it’s just been watered – everything looks so fresh and perky!

The part I’m most excited to show you is… !THE VEGGIES!

OK so I know the leeks are meant to look like this (ie, they have bolted and probably won’t be edible) but they’re so pretty! 😉
Cucumber’s are a coming!
And Peas!
Peppers…
Beetroots!
More Peppers… I have been learning about these recently… I never knew that green peppers are just red or yellow peppers before they colour/ripen and the fruit comes after the flowers so it looks like we have a few coming!
Broad Beans!
And new Carrots are coming – I started these ones from seed a few weeks ago and am experimenting with copper rings… fingers crossed these ones survive!

Also the FLOWERS are looking lovely!

I’m coming up to a nice bit of free-er time so I will be blogging more soon!!! 🙂
Lots to tell you… we just changed our bedroom completely by changing our bed for a loft one so I now have a walk in wardrobe underneath where we sleep and SO much more room – I’ll tell you all about it in a blog soon!

Take care twinkle toes!
