Spring -ing back into action…

I’M BACK!
As this has definitely turned into a Spring blog I decided it was high time to do an update!!

I finally got a chance to get out into the garden today and thought I would share some snaps from the experience whilst I was there pruning Hydrangeas and planting Acers (a beautiful birthday present from my folks- 4 new Japanese Maples!!) This is the last chance I get to do a spot of gardening before heading off on a mammoth month long tour in Europe!

I’m pretty excited to see how everything is getting on in May – there will be a lot more colour and a lot less brown – yay!

Until then

  1. I wish I was spending more of my time doing constructive stuff – at the moment most of what I am doing is ripping out the ivy that has overgrown two borders and a fence. And it is grown all the way from the fence through the border into the grass, so there is a lot of stem by stem pulling out.

  2. I love the flower photos!
