Look What I Made… The Miette Skirt

Evening all!So I’ve been making loads of clothes – I’m totally obsessed and I have much to share but I think each piece deserves it’s own blog and I’m knackered after driving 20 hours to a gig in France and back this weekend so I’m going to just show you some pictures and stop gabbling away…

Let me introduce to you…

THE SPOTTY MIETTE SKIRT

Even Hobbes got in on my pictures for this one! Yay for dogs!! 🙂

The making of…

The Miette Skirt is the 4th project in ‘Love At First Stitch’ this book pictured by Tilly Walnes
This is my lovely sewing machine – we are very happy together!
The fabric is a lovely lightweight cotton from Rolls and Rems in Finsbury Park – only £2.50 a metre

It has a wrap-around design with great tie up waistband and I love it, even if, and this is totally my fault, it is a teensy weensy bit see through. Let’s just say I will never wear this without tights!

And one more picture of my cute little (but very heavy) dog, Hobbes!

So that’s the Miette skirt post and more garment’s are coming your way but now I want to hear from YOU… What shall I make next?! – I would love to create a new stage outfit but don’t know what to make…please send me ideas!!

Love and a late night hot Ribena to you!
